How Do I Open A Checking Account?

Opening a checking account is easy! Simply visit one of our branch locations, and a FNB representative can assist you in selecting the account that best suits your needs.

To open an account, you will need to provide two forms of identification. One form is typically a valid, unexpired driver’s license or state-issued ID. For your second form of identification, you may provide a Social Security card, passport, pistol permit, birth certificate, company identification card, health insurance card, debit or credit card, or another acceptable form of identification. The name on both forms of identification must match.

First National Bank offers several checking account options. For more information about our checking accounts, click here, or give us a call at (205) 921-7435. An FNB representative will be happy to assist you.

The amount needed to open an account varies depending on the type of checking account you choose. Most personal checking accounts require an initial deposit of $100 to open. Click here to compare accounts.
